  Kent Street- The objective behind this album was to immerse ourselves in music form a different time and capture our interpretations of these old classics. Since we do not have a jazz background (as players) but grew up listening and loving these songs, we wanted to approach them with our soul influence. Learning and performing these songs has definitely helped our original sound and we are so grateful to have been able to take the time to learn them. It was important for us to also learn the recording process from the time era these songs originated. Using ribbon mics, plate reverb, doing live one take versions in studio. We thought we could bring these songs back to life for people who may not know about them.
